The Grand Canyon: The Divine Abyss

On Sunday morning, JF got up before the sun to go run to the bottom of the Grand Canyon an back through the South Kaibab trail to the Colorado river and back throught Bright Angel Trail (25.5 km in a little less than 3 hours 40 min: that's my man!). I was so happy to roll over when his alarm went off at 6 am and it was pitch black and I was freezing in my fleece longjohns under 2 thick blankets...
Beautiful sunset at Cedar Ridge (all the photos have been taken by JF with his phone and edited by me in Lightroom).

And then, he talked us into going back the next morning to go see the sunrise (hiking 2,4 km down to Aah Ooh point)... and to my great surprise, I said YES (photos to come)!!
